Minivärlden Ljungby

A labour of love by local model trains enthusiasts. You get a good 'o welcome and a douse of enthusiasm from the staff right from the ticketing counter. The models and diorama are not only time capsules of Ljungby but also a continuous work in improvement by generations after generations of staff, enthusiasts and interns. It's not a sleek modern showcase but more of a homely, musty, oldish but wholesome visit, filled with information and tons of details to look at. Don't expect the Lego master's showcase to sweep you off your feet but some of the sets can still trigger the imagination. There is a small cafe with a small range of fika snacks, coffee, tea and packet juice. The souvenir t-shirts are worth checking out. They are decently priced and have cute designs.

A small but very family friendly attraction with a number of hands on activities for children, as well as two superb model railway layouts for the enthusiasts.

A great hands-on model train museum run by true enthusiasts. A great way to fill a couple of hours if you love trains or models, it has a lego play area, and an impressive lego models show area. Cafe does a good waffle too

If the ventilation worked better or some windows would have let some refreshing air trough, the experience would have been 5/5. However, the miniatures and the Lego creations were really interesting and it looks like a lot of work out into making these trains and all things around it function. Kudos to the passionate guides and their dedication to showing these miniature worlds.

Enjoyable "little" adventure for the family

Very beautiful exhibition run by a non-profit association. Lots of attention to detail and great activities for children too.
